Job Opportunities
FMI is seeking a highly capable and motivated intern to provide administrative and technical support to FMI’s various international projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide in-depth research and analysis for senior management on a broad range of international development issues.
- Provide administrative and technical support to FMI’s various international projects.
- Draft content and provide updates to FMI’s website and other public outreach materials.
- Track new business opportunities with key international donor-funded agencies, including USAID, MCC, World Bank, ADB, AfDB, EBRD, etc.
- Increase the capacity of consultant information database.
- Work with FMI staff and senior management to help field international consultant teams and develop new business proposals.
Candidates will be considered only if they meet the following requirements:
- Strong interest in international relations and development economics.
- Good communications and writing skills
- Ability to work individually and as a member of a diverse team.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Students currently enrolled as an undergraduate in the Washington, DC metro area.
The Intern is expected to work at least 20 hours per week, starting in April/May and ending in August. The selected Intern will be offered a small stipend for transportation costs.
