Call for Expressions of Interest RFA-2023-06 Diaspora Experts Roster (CLOSED)

The USAID Diaspora Project has launched a call for expressions of interest for Diaspora Experts to contribute to the socio-economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The project aims to leverage the knowledge, investment, and business practices of the BiH diaspora to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. The selected experts will provide mentorship and assistance to Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in BiH, focusing on areas such as business strategy, financial management, sales and marketing, supply chain and operations, research and development, information technology, human resources, communications, sector analysis, and export opportunities.

Vacancy: Business Development Specialist (Mostar, BiH) (CLOSED)

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for handling the project’s portfolio of activities in the Herzegovina region. This will include support to partner towns and municipalities in diaspora engagement, identification of and support to diaspora investors locating in the region, and liaising with BiH authorities, financial institutions and private sector representatives to help strengthen businesses and stimulate transfer of diaspora knowledge and capital through capacity development, technical assistance and grant awards.
