Are you interested in gaining practical experience in international development? Join our Team as a Communications and Social Media Assistant at the USAID Diaspora Invest Project in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Position Overview: The Communications and Social Media Assistant will support the Engagement and Outreach Director by organizing and executing outreach events, ensuring compliance of communications products of local partners and the USAID Diaspora Invest Project with USAID branding and marking guidelines, and developing traditional and social media content.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media content creation.
  • Active B driver’s license and readiness to travel for field work.
  • Proficiency in basic video editing software for social media content.
  • Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging success stories and conduct effective interviews.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
