Call for Expressions of Interest RFA-2023-06 Diaspora Experts Roster (CLOSED)

(RFA-2023-06) for the Provision of Diaspora Expert Assistance to MSMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The USAID Diaspora Project has launched a call for expressions of interest for Diaspora Experts to contribute to the socio-economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The project aims to leverage the knowledge, investment, and business practices of the BiH diaspora to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. The selected experts will provide mentorship and assistance to Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in BiH, focusing on areas such as business strategy, financial management, sales and marketing, supply chain and operations, research and development, information technology, human resources, communications, sector analysis, and export opportunities.

The program will run from July 2023 to October 2024. Eligible candidates must be members of the BiH diaspora and possess expertise in relevant fields. They are expected to actively assist at least one MSME, dedicating a minimum of 16 hours of comprehensive assistance. The project will provide support and logistics to facilitate the mentorship program. Applications can be submitted online, and the deadline is June 20, 2023.
